We spent the first day of vacation in Quito. Went to the old town, saw some churches, drank naranjilla fruit juice (the best)… visited the enormous malls… walked through the park on Sunday and saw people playing soccer and flying kites. Saw my friends, Ana and Alexis.
It’s a nice city, even if I did get sick for the first time here. So we never made it to the movies, or to spend time with friends again on the night before we left for vacation. But I soon got better and we took a bus to Baños.
