Traveling with Jenna

Jenna got here last Saturday. So far we have been to Quito, Banos, and Riobamba. Banos was nice and very cute… we rented bikes and went 15km down the road towards Puyo, to Rio Verde, and we saw all the waterfalls along the way. The largest one was called “Pailon del Diablo” and was absolutely stunning. We took lots of pics and a short movie of the waterfall, but we haven’t had a chance to upload any pictures yet. I’ll probably download them sometime next week when we get back to Quito and post them once Jenna is back in the states.

At the moment we’re in Riobamba. Not much here to speak of, we are just stopping for the night on the way to Ingapirca (Inca ruins) tomorrow morning, and then to Cuenca tomorrow night. After Saturday we don’t know what our plans are yet.

Other than that we have both been kinda sick. Jenna seems to have kicked it already, but I think I have some sort of intestinal parasite (yuck) because my stomach has been hurting like a mofo. Good thing my dad’s a pharmacist and you don’t have to have prescriptions to buy drugs down here. Doxycycline, here I come.

More later.
