Not much has been going on since I got home. Same old, same old, more or less.
I’ve seen most of my family. Eaten pork ribs that my grandpa made for me, now that I’m not vegetarian anymore. Picked up some of my stuff from my brother’s house in Atlanta. Got the rest of it from the storage building with the help of my dad. Saw my nephew James for the first time since he was a couple weeks old… he’s 10 months old now? He’s hilarious.
Time flies.
Went to a few parties on New Years Eve that were less than stellar, but I saw a few people I wanted to see and didn’t expect to see, so it wasn’t all bad. Drove my new (old) car for the first time… yes, a 1987 Nissan Stanza Wagon is the best car ever. Ordered a new stereo for the car that costs almost as much as the car itself. Sometimes you just can’t compromise.
Moved into my room at the farm, although not completely (finished this weekend). So far so good, although I have yet to meet my three (!) roommates. Went to the dentist twice this week in my old hometown… lots of driving involved. Saw a good friend that I haven’t seen in about 2 years and she looks as great as ever… always nice to know some things never change. And now I’m at my mom’s house watching Knight Rider in HD. It doesn’t get any better than that, right?
