Got a new (old) bike. $180 from Craigslist. I think it was a good deal, even though the bike needed considerable cleaning and servicing after not being used for 10 years. I’m done with all of the external fixups, all that remains is for the front and rear hubs to be serviced (which I will probably do next week).
Who needs 20+ gears when 12 can do the job just fine? This thing is fast as hell. Plus it’s pink. Love it.
Laura and I are going to go on a lot more bike trips now, maybe even with some local groups. Yay!

This was my first good road bike in 1988, it cost I think around 500$, with was ahigh cost bike. I was doing triathlon.It had 105 with sis with at the time was hot stuff, that was before sti.Also I remenber it had biopace cranks,with was doing to make you faster??I have agreat time with that bike and still have alove for that bike and it will always be my first good bike and my first love.Great picture and the paint job alway got me some griff.
