I joined the Freecycle Network recently.
Basically, it’s a list of email groups (by city, state, and/or country) where you can give away things that you don’t want anymore. I signed up for the Macon, GA list because it’s where my mom lives and she’s got a TON of junk in her house.
In the last 24 hours I’ve given away:
- 5 chairs
- 1 rocking chair
- 1 foot stool
- 2 bunk beds
- Old military clothes
- Computer programming books
- An old Japanese floor mat
- Boy Scout memorabilia
- 1 artificial Christmas tree
- Old croquet set
- Antique indoor lighting fixtures
- 3 camera tripods
- 1 microwave
- 1 toaster oven
- 1 electric waffle maker
